11/1 Duke Blue Devils
It’s Homecoming on Rocky Top! Most of the time, you like to have a team to play in this game which will be a “sure win”, and this time Vols fans, you have one. Unlike last season’s HC, when Miami came to Knoxville and left the victor, the Blue Devils figure to be of little trouble to Tennessee.
As always, the game is special for the attention it gives to the seniors, and this year’s game will be no exception. Casey Clausen, Troy Fleming, Constantine Ritzmann and other senior members have, overall, had a successful run in Knoxville, winning one SEC East title and playing in three post season bowls, the most enjoyable one being a win over the University of Michigan in the 2002 Citrus Bowl.
Look for a high scoring effort from the Big Orange!
